Colbear Nominated for Partnership Award |

Award winning agency, Colbear was nominated for an award for the second year running at the Doncaster Chamber, Business Awards.
The agency was nominated in the category of ‘Performance Through Partnership’. This category was solely for companies nominated by a client or partner. Colbear client, Grant Rail, which has been with the company for eight years, was responsible for the nomination. Other nominees in this category included – Doncaster Dome, Oracle Training and First South Yorkshire.
The prestigious event that showcases growth and excellence in business was held in the Doncaster Dome’s star light marquee on the 13th of December 2007. It was the ninth annual ceremony and was a great success with approximately 800 people attending. Each year the standards of the nominees get higher and higher!
George Thompson, Director of business development and communications for Grant Rail commented: “Scott and the staff at Colbear have always been a professional, responsive and creative agency that instinctively reacts when needed. We have always had a great relationship with them over many years and we had no hesitation in nominating them for an award at the Chamber business awards dinner.”
The celebrity host and After Dinner Speaker for the event was comedian Frankie Boyle, who is most famous for appearing on the television programme ‘Mock of the week’.
Colbear Managing Director Scott Colbear said: “ We were over the moon when we found out that George Thompson and his team at Grant Rail had nominated us for this award.”
Unfortunately, Colbear didn’t win the award but were a finalist. Danum Credit Union Ltd pipped them to the post.
Scott continued: “ Although we didn’t win the award, we all thoroughly enjoyed the evening and we really appreciated the nomination.
